Death of traffic inspector at Sonamsjid land port due to heat stroke

Chapainawabganj Sonamsjid land port traffic inspector Ruhul Amin died of heat stroke.

He died of heat stroke after 12:30 pm on Thursday (April 25).

This information was confirmed by the OC of Shibganj police station. Sajjad Hossain.

Ruhul Amin Sonamsjid was working as traffic inspector at land port. He is from Benapole municipality of Jessore district. Son of Korban Ali.

According to local and police sources, Ruhul Amin was sitting in the office room after completing round duty in the intense heatwave on Thursday. He fell ill there. After admitting him to Shibganj Upazila Health Complex, the doctor on duty declared him dead.

OC of Shibganj Police Station. Sajjad Hossain said, Inspector Ruhul Amin of Traffic Department of Sonamsjid Sthalbandar died of heat stroke. His body is now kept at Shibganj Upazila Health Complex. His body will be handed over to the family through legal arrangements.

Officer in charge of Shibganj Upazila Health Complex Dr. Saira Khan said, Ruhul Amin, a traffic member of Sonamsjid land port, was brought dead to the hospital.
