A new company has entered the smartphone market. Finland’s HMD Global launched the Pulse series of smartphones yesterday. This series includes HMD Pulse, Pulse Pro and Pulse+. All these three smartphones run Android 14 out of the box. They cost less than 200 euros. It uses Unisoc T606 chipset.

The HMD Pulse is priced at 140 Euros (roughly Rs. 12,460). It is available in Atmos Blue, Dreamy Pink and Meteor Black colors. The HMD Pulse Pro is priced at 180 Euros (roughly Rs. 16,000). It can be purchased in Glacier Green, Twilight Purple and Black Ocean colors. The HMD Pulse+ can be purchased for 160 Euros (roughly Rs. 14,240).

This smartphone comes in Apricot Crush, Glacier Green and Midnight Blue colors. All three smartphones will be available for sale in Europe via the company’s website. It has a 6.65-inch HD+ (720 x 1,612 pixels) LCD screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness level of 600 nits.

These smartphones have a 5,000 mAh battery. HMD claims that the battery life of these smartphones is around 59 hours. The HMD Pulse Pro has a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Also, there is a 50-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls.

The HMD Pulse+ has a 50-megapixel primary camera and the HMD Pulse has a 13-megapixel camera. Both these smartphones have an 8 megapixel camera on the front. It has an octa-core Unisoc T606 processor and up to 6GB of RAM. This series of smartphones from the company has 128 GB of storage which can be expanded up to 256 GB via microSD card.

All these three smartphones run on Android 14. It will receive two Android OS upgrades and three yearly quarterly security updates. It has 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS and USB Type C port options for connectivity. It has accelerometer, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor. It has side mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
