Md. Asaduzzaman (Benapole): DB Police has revealed the mystery of the murder within 1 hour of identifying the identity of the body of an unidentified woman found in Bukvara Bawar, Jessore.

According to the police, the Kotyali police station and DB police arrived at the scene after receiving the news that an unidentified woman’s body was found in Bukvara Baor of Mathbari village under the Kotyali model police station of Jessore at around 8 am on Wednesday (April 24). On the basis of the broken mobile phone found at the scene, SI Khan Maidul Islam of DB quickly identified the identity of the body and within 1 hour, the alleged husband of deceased Khadija Khatun alias Mitu Karmakar was arrested and the mystery of the murder was revealed.
Arrested accused – Mrinmoy Bhadra alias Niloy (32) son of Madan Bhadra of Damodar Kathi village under Kalaroa police station of Satkhira, he lived in Chandutia of Kotwali police station of Jessore for a long time.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased Khadija Khatun alias Mitu Karmakar (30), father-Ajgar Ali Sardar, Sang-Dhandia Chowrasta, Thana-Patkel Ghata, District-Satkhira was a daily worker.
Earlier she converted and married a Hindu boy, later divorced him and had relationships and marriages with several boys. The deceased Khadija met Mrinmoy Bhadra from a place of daily life and entered into a relationship and married him as well. At one stage, 3 years ago, he divorced her and took a huge sum of money. Deceased Khadija had various pictures of solitude with the Murnmoya Mandal.
At various times he was intimidated by showing her the picture and demanded re-relationship and money. That is why Mrinmoy Bhadra took him from Patkelghata on April 23 and entered the area at night. After that, around 11:00 pm, he strangulated and broke the mobile phone and left it at the spot. Following the complaint of the family member of the deceased, the case is pending.
