Uncle and niece were killed by a train while shopping for marriage in Mymensingh. Apart from this, two died in Patgram and Bogra of Lalmonirhat. News sent by own reporters and representatives-
Mymensingh: An uncle and niece were killed by a train on Tuesday night in the city. They are Abdur Rahman (62) and his niece Shefali Akhtar (45) of Ujan Badera village of Mymensingh Sadar. They were passengers of an autorickshaw. They were crushed by the train when they hit the auto-rickshaw that was on the railway track. Lalmonirhat: A disabled woman named Mamta Begum (40) died yesterday after being hit by a train in Khanpara Harisva Bazar area of Patgram upazila. Bogra: An unidentified person (65) was killed after being hit by a train in Bogra. This incident happened yesterday in Bogra railway station area.
The man was trying to board the train with bottles and plastic sacks. But he could not get up because the sack was big. When the train left, he fell under the train. He was dragged by a train to the Govt Azizul Haque College Gate.
Bogra Railway Police Outpost in-charge Khairul Islam said that an unidentified person died after being cut while boarding the college train bound for Santahar at 10 am. He was a wanderer. But his identity is not yet known. PBI team is working to identify him.
