Yogesh Kumar (36), a resident of Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh, is a teacher by profession. Six months ago, he married a young woman named Manikarnika. According to police sources, Manikarnika died in a road accident on Lucknow-Hardoi highway in Sursa police station area on Monday. Yogesh could not accept the death of his wife. He is also seen breaking down in tears again and again. Finally, Yogesh committed suicide by hanging himself.

Sursa police station SHO Indreskumar Yadav said that Manikarnika was going to the primary health center on her scooter on Monday. There she worked as a nurse. A car hit Manikarnika’s scooter on the Lucknow-Hardoi highway. He immediately fell on the road. When he was rescued and taken to the hospital, the doctors declared him dead.

The police got to know the identity of Manikarnika by searching his mobile phone. Her husband was contacted. Yogesh rushed to the spot after getting the news. He broke into tears after hearing the news of his wife’s death. According to family sources, after returning home, he entered his house and closed the door from inside. Yogesh was not responding to repeated calls.

After that the police was informed. The police came and broke the door and entered the house. They recovered Yogesh’s hanging body from the locked room. Police found a note from the house. The note read, “We will live together, die together.”
