The price of gold has decreased by another 2 thousand 99 rupees in a span of one day. According to the notification given by Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) today, Wednesday (April 24), the price of one load of gold has been fixed at 1 lakh 14 thousand 190 taka. This information was informed in a circular signed by Masudur Rahman, Chairman of the Bajus Price Determination and Price Monitoring Standing Committee on Wednesday (April 24). It is said that the new price of gold will be effective from today. According to the notification, the price of acid gold (pure gold) has decreased in the local market. As a result, the new price of gold has been fixed considering the overall situation. According to the new price, the price of 22 carat gold per load (11.664 grams) will be 1 lakh 14 thousand 190 taka. Apart from this, 1 lakh 9 thousand taka per load of 21 carat and 93 thousand 429 taka per load of 18 carat and 75 thousand 209 taka per load of traditional method have been fixed. Earlier on Tuesday (April 23), Bajus set the price of 22 carat gold at Tk 1,16,290 after reducing the price by Tk 3,138 in two days. Apart from this, the price of gold was fixed at 1 lakh 10 thousand 995 taka per 21 carat, 95 thousand 143 taka per 18 carat and 76 thousand 586 taka per traditional method. Earlier last Sunday (April 21st), Bajus had increased the price of 22 carat gold by 630 taka per bar within a day and fixed the price at 1 lakh 19 thousand 428 taka. Apart from this, the price of gold was fixed at 1 lakh 14 thousand 4 taka per 21 carat, 97 thousand 709 taka per 18 carat and 78 thousand 662 taka per traditional method. Which was effective from 3.30 pm that day.
On Saturday (April 20), Bajus set a price of 1 lakh 18 thousand 798, reducing by 840 taka a bar of 22 carat gold. And 1 lakh 13 thousand 397 taka per load of 21 carat, 97 thousand 196 taka per load of 18 carat and 78 thousand 242 taka per load of traditional method were fixed. Which was effective from 3.30 pm that day.
