Gold prices fell again within 24 hours of price reduction. The price of good quality gold has been reduced by 2 thousand 100 rupees. Now a 22 carat gold bar stands at 1 lakh 14 thousand 190 taka. Earlier the price was 1 lakh 16 thousand 290 taka. This price will be effective from Wednesday (April 24) afternoon.

Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) informed this information in a press release this afternoon.

It is said that the price of acid gold (pure gold) has decreased in the local market. As a result, the new price of gold has been fixed considering the overall situation. Earlier, after two days of increasing the price, yesterday on Tuesday, Bhari was reduced by Tk 3 thousand 138. The new price is set at Tk 1 lakh 16 thousand 290 for a 22 carat lot.

Earlier on April 21, the fee was increased by Tk 630 in a one-day gap. The price of a 22 carat gold bar was 1 lakh 19 thousand 428 taka. Apart from this, 1 lakh 14 thousand 4 taka per 21 carat, 97 thousand 709 taka per 18 carat and 78 thousand 662 taka per traditional method gold was fixed. Which was effective from 3.30 pm that day.

Bajus adjusted gold price 11 times this year. And in 2023, the price was adjusted 29 times.
