This time the US Senate passed a $95 billion aid bill for Israel, Ukraine and Taiwan. Earlier, the much-discussed bill was passed in the House of Representatives of the United States Parliament. The massive aid package was approved to provide security assistance to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, despite strong objections from Republican hardliners.

Earlier on Saturday, a total of 423 votes were cast for this bill in the House of Representatives. Of these, 210 Democrats and 101 Republicans voted for the bill, and 112 Republicans voted against the bill.

The bill will now be sent to the White House for Joe Biden’s signature. If he signs it, it will become law.

The United States will give the country $61 billion in military aid to deal with the conflict in Ukraine. In addition, $9 billion in humanitarian aid will be given to Gaza, $26 billion to Israel and $8 billion to the Pacific region including Taiwan.

Earlier, Amnesty International said that Israeli forces in Gaza are committing war crimes against Palestinians with US-made weapons. That is why Israel has been called to stop supplying weapons.
