Bangladeshi killed in road accident in Emirates

A Bangladeshi expatriate named Muhammad Abu Sayyid (26) was killed in a road accident in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. Three others were injured in the accident. Burichong Upazila of Comilla District.

The accident took place in Abu Dhabi City on Monday (April 22).

Muhammad Sarwar Hossain, owner of the deceased Abu Sayyid’s company, said that Abu Sayyid lived in the labor camp of Mosaffar, the industrial city of Abu Dhabi. On that day, went for a late night city tour with friends, on the way back from there the driver met with an accident due to over speeding. Police arrested the driver in this incident.

Hazra Sabbir Hossain, Labor Counselor of Abu Dhabi Embassy, ​​acknowledged the fact of the incident and said, “It is a very sad incident and we have already spoken to his Bangladeshi-owned company and completed all the procedures to send the body to the country quickly and have given clearance to his relatives.”

Among the two sons and one daughter of Muhammad Hanif of Badupara in Mainamati Bazar of Comilla Burichong Upazila, the deceased Abu Sayyid is the youngest. Abu Sayyid, who is unmarried, went to the Emirates two and a half years ago, his relatives said. At this time, they sought the government’s support for the family of the deceased.

It is to be noted that the company’s sponsor, Muhammad Sarwar Hossain, also said that the company has sent the outstanding salary money to Abu Sayyid’s father in addition to the ticket cost.
