One Bangladeshi was killed and three injured in a road accident in Abu Dhabi. The accident took place in Abu Dhabi City on Monday (April 22). Abu Dhabi expatriate Muhammad Abu Sayyid (26) died on the spot.
Abu Sayyid is the younger son of Muhammad Hanif of Badupara of Mainamati Bazar in Burichong Upazila of Comilla. Abu Sayyid, who is unmarried, came to the Emirates two and a half years ago, his relatives said.
Muhammad Sarwar Hossain, the owner of his company, said that the body was going to the country on April 29. Sarobar Hossain said, he used to live in the labor camp of Abu Dhabi’s industrial city, Moshafar. On that day, went for a late night city tour with friends, on the way back from there, the driver met with an accident due to over speeding. The driver has been arrested by the police.
Hazra Sabbir Hossain, Labor Counselor of Abu Dhabi Embassy, confirmed the truth of the incident and said, “We talked to his Bangladeshi-owned company and completed all the procedures to send the body to the country quickly and gave the clearance to his relatives.”
Muhammad Sarwar Hossain, the company’s sponsor, also said that the company has sent the ticket cost as well as the outstanding salary money to Abu Sayyid’s father.
