Dhaka: Adabar police recovered a bloody body of a housewife from a house in Adabar in the capital. The husband of the housewife who was killed in this incident is absconding.
The incident took place on Tuesday (23 April) at 4:30 pm at 43/B house in Sunibir housing area of Adabar. The deceased’s name is Nasima Akhtar (28).
Locals said that the deceased Nasima Akhtar was a domestic worker by profession. She worked as a domestic worker in various homes and her husband was a rickshaw puller by profession. The deceased Naseema used to quarrel with her husband on various family matters every day. Today (Tuesday) in the afternoon, husband and wife quarreled at home. At one point in the afternoon, not getting any response from them, the people around came running and saw the bloody body of the wife. Later the police was informed. The police came and recovered the body.
In this incident, Adabar police station officer in-charge (OC) Mahbub Alam said, after receiving the information, we went to the spot and recovered Nasima’s bloody body and took it to Shaheed Suhrawardy Hospital for a report. The victim’s husband is absconding in this incident. We are working to arrest him. Initially, I am thinking that this murder may happen due to the quarrel between husband and wife. No case has been filed in the police station so far.
