After 25 days in Kishoreganj, the police recovered the melted body of the Chhatra League leader. The police recovered the body of Mokhlesh Uddin Bhuiyan (28) from the Narsunda river adjacent to the Gurdayal Government College watch tower on Tuesday (April 23) around 4 pm.

The deceased is the son of Maqbul Hossain of Phulpur village of Kewarzor union of Mithamain upazila of Mokhlesh district. He worked as an assistant to the contractual Peshkar in Kishoreganj Judge Court. Mukhlesh Kewarzor is the vice president of Union Chhatra League.

It is known that the deceased Mokhlesh went missing on the night of March 29. On April 1, Mokhlech’s family filed a general diary at Kishoreganj Model Police Station. Later, the police started looking for the missing person. On April 16, the victim’s relatives filed a kidnapping case. After the filing of the case, the police conducted a raid for 6 consecutive days and arrested one of the accused in the case involved in the incident. According to the information given by the arrested accused, the police conducted a two-day operation on Monday (April 22) and Tuesday (April 23) with the help of the fire service. The body was recovered later in the afternoon.

Ashraf Ali, the elder brother of the deceased Mokhlesh Uddin Bhuiyan, said that for 3 months, Mokhlesh lived in Kishoreganj city’s Harua Bou Bazar area of ​​Chunnu Mia’s house. Last March 29, he went missing from the rental house around 9 pm. The latest location was identified through CCTV camera footage of various institutions on the road. Some people are seen with him in this CCTV footage. He thinks they kidnapped him and killed him.

He also said that on the basis of CCTV footage, the police arrested Sheful Sheikh (65) of Phulpur village in Kewarjur Union of Mithamin and his three sons Mizan Sheikh (28), Marjan Sheikh (26) and Raihan Sheikh (21) from Shaistaganj in Habiganj district on Saturday (April 20). DB and police arrested them in a joint operation around 11 am. Later, when the accused were interrogated, they said that they had killed Mokhlesh and dumped the body in Narsunda river.

Before that, the body was cut open to prevent it from floating in the water, and the sacks were filled with blocks and tied to the sacks. He assured that those involved in this murder will be brought under maximum punishment.
