The gold market in the country has been bullish for quite some time. In the meantime, the price of gold in the country’s market was slightly reduced on Saturday after increasing several times. However, within a day, the price of gold was increased again on Sunday.

This time, the price of gold has been slightly reduced in the country’s market. Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has reduced the price of best quality or 22 carat gold (11.664 grams) by 3 thousand 138 taka.
As a result, the price of gold per load stood at 1 lakh 19 thousand 427 taka. Last, the price of this gold was fixed at 1 lakh 18 thousand 796 rupees.
Bajus informed that the price has been reduced in view of the reduction in the price of acid gold (ripe gold) in the local market.
The price will be effective from 4pm on Tuesday (April 23), the company said.
In a circular signed by Bajus Chairman Masudur Rahman, it is said that Bajus Standing Committee on Pricing and Price Monitoring Committee met on Tuesday and decided to reduce the price.
According to the notification, the price of acid gold has decreased in the local market. Therefore, considering the overall situation, Bangladesh Jewelery Association has fixed the new price of gold.
According to the new price, the price of a 21 carat gold bar has been reduced by 3 thousand 9 rupees to 1 lakh 10 thousand 995 rupees.
Besides, the price of 18 carat gold has been reduced by 2 thousand 566 taka to 95 thousand 143 taka. And the traditional gold price of one load of gold has been reduced from 2 thousand 76 taka to 76 thousand 586 taka.
However, although the price of gold has been increased, the price of silver has been kept unchanged. According to the category – currently the price of 22 carat silver is 2 thousand 100 rupees, 21 carat price is 2 thousand 6 rupees, 18 carat price is 1715 rupees and traditional method silver price is 1 thousand 283 rupees.
