Traders say that due to good demand in the market, the manufacturing companies have increased the prices.
On Monday (April 22), various electronic products selling establishments in Feni city were visited, customers are flocking to different shops to buy charger fans according to their ability to escape from the heat. As a result, the sales of these fans have also increased. Compared to last year, the price of charger fan has increased from Tk 300 to Tk 1000 depending on the size. Many people have been seen going to neighborhood electrical shops to repair broken fans. There is an effort to reduce the cost of the middle class in small amounts.
Swapna Akhter, who came to buy a charger fan at an electronics store on College Road in the city, said that she has been fed up with the 7-8 hours of load shedding in the heat of the last few days. The fan price has increased more than before. Still, the family has to buy fans thinking about the suffering of children and the elderly.
Another buyer named Shahjalal said, Graduation and HSC exams are in front of my two children. In this situation, due to heat and load shedding, they are not studying properly. That’s why I came to buy charger light and fan. Even after a long time, the price seems to be higher.
A buyer named Srabanti Chowdhury said, we common people are in an unusual situation. There is no way to stay at home in such heat. The same size fan that I bought 10 months ago is now being asked for Tk 400 more. It seems that the shopkeepers are charging as much as they want. It is necessary to buy.

Nimai Bhowmik, owner of Liton Electric, Meezan Road, said that sales of electric fans, charger fans, IPS have increased since the month of Ramadan. Although the price has increased slightly, it has increased relatively less than the market price of other products. If the company increases the price, there is not much for traders at our level to do.
Amjad Hossain, the owner of Rangdhanu Electric, said that the sales of charger fans have been increasing for the past few days. It is a seasonal business. This type of sale is done only when it is hot. 12 inch charger fan is selling for 3 thousand to 4 thousand 500 taka, 14 and 18 inch fan is selling for 6 thousand to 8 thousand taka.
Nurul Karim Hira, the owner of Hira Electric, said that although the price of charger fan has increased slightly, the ceiling fan is being sold at the same price. Non-band ceiling fans are selling at 1500 rupees and branded ceiling fans from 2800 rupees. Custom stand fans are being sold at prices ranging from Tk 3 thousand to Tk 8 more.
