Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has reduced the price by 3138 taka in the country’s market. This new rate of gold will be effective across the country from 4 pm on Tuesday.
On Tuesday (April 23), the Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) announced the price reduction in gold in a press release. It is said that the price of Tazabi (pure gold) gold has decreased in the local market. That’s why Bajus decided to adjust the price of gold. Newly, the price of good quality gold has decreased by 3 thousand 138 taka.
According to the new prices, the price of best quality or 22 carat (11.664 grams) gold is Tk 1 lakh 16 thousand 290, 21 carat gold price is Tk 1 lakh 10 thousand 995, 18 carat is Tk 95 thousand 143 and traditional gold price is Rs. It will be 76 thousand 586 taka.
Earlier, Bajus had increased the price of gold on 6, 8 and 18 of the current month of April. Among them, 1750 taka was increased on 6 April, 1750 taka on 8 April and 2 thousand 65 taka on 18 April. Later, on April 20, after a day of reduction of Tk 840, on April 21, Bajus again increased the load by Tk 630. After that, within 48 hours, Bajus announced to reduce the supply of good quality gold by 3138.
According to the association of gold traders, the price of acid gold has decreased in the local market. The new price of gold has been fixed keeping in view the overall situation. The new prices will be effective from 4 PM on April 23.
The price of gold has been increased but the price of silver has been kept unchanged. According to the category, currently the price of 22 carat silver is 2 thousand 100 taka, 21 carat is 2 thousand 6 taka, 18 carat is 1715 taka and the price of traditional silver is 1 thousand 283 taka.
