The diving team of fire service recovered the bodies of three missing teenagers who went down to bathe in Padma in Rajshahi.
On Tuesday (April 23) at noon, the three teenagers went missing after going down to bathe in the Padma river at Shyampur Balur Ghat in Rajshahi. Later their bodies were recovered around 3 pm.
They are the son of Rentu of Rajshahi Mahita police station area. Yuvraj (12), Nuruzzaman (12) son of Noor Islam from Motihar area and Arif (13) son of Liton from the same area.
Rajshahi Fire Service Senior Station Officer Abu Shama confirmed this information.
He said that several teenagers went to take a bath in Padma at Shyampur Balur Ghat in Rajshahi around 1 pm. Three of them drowned. After receiving information, divers carried out rescue operations. Later their bodies were recovered.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Rajshahi Naval Police. Moniruzzaman said that the body will be handed over after taking legal action. The case is being prepared in this case.
