Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has announced to reduce the price of gold again. This time the price of good quality (22 carat) gold has been reduced by Tk 3 thousand 138.

This information was informed in a press release signed by Masudur Rahman, Chairman of the Bajus Price Determination and Price Monitoring Standing Committee on Tuesday (April 23).

According to the new fixed price, the price of a 22 carat gold bar is reduced by Tk 1 lakh 16 thousand 290. Earlier the price was 1 lakh 19 thousand 428 taka.

According to the notification, the price of acidic gold has decreased in the local market. Therefore, considering the overall situation, Bangladesh Jewelery Association has fixed the new price of gold, which will be effective from 4 pm on Tuesday.

According to the new prices, the price of a bar of best quality or 22 carat gold has been reduced by Tk 3 thousand 138 to Tk 1 lakh 16 thousand 290. The price of 21 carat gold has been reduced by 3 thousand 9 taka to 1 lakh 10 thousand 995 taka.

Besides, the price of 18 carat gold has been reduced by 2 thousand 566 taka to 95 thousand 143 taka. And the traditional gold price of one load of gold has been reduced by 2 thousand 76 taka to 76 thousand 586 taka.

On April 21, Bajus increased the price of gold by 630 rupees. However, on the previous day, April 20, it was reduced by Rs. 840.
