An old farmer named Ajgar Ali Bepari (75) died of heat stroke while working in the field in the intense heat of Dasar in Madaripur.
The family of the deceased confirmed this information on Tuesday (April 23) morning. The deceased Azgar Ali is the son of deceased Baram Ali of Paschim Bangram village of Gopalpur area of upazila.
According to the deceased’s family and police sources, farmer Azgar Ali Bepari went to work in a field near his house in the scorching sun. At that time he became seriously ill due to heat stroke due to extreme heat. Later the locals rescued him and he died on the way home.
UP member Halim said that Shukur died of heat stroke while working on the land in summer.
In this regard, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Dasar Police Station SM Shafiqul Islam said that Azgar Ali died of heat stroke in old age as he could not bear the temperature while working on the land in extreme heat. The incident is heartbreaking. He was buried with family.
