Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has announced a reduction in the price of gold. The price of good quality gold has been reduced by Tk 3 thousand 138. Now the price of 22 carat gold is reduced to 1 lakh 16 thousand 290 taka. Earlier the price was 1 lakh 19 thousand 428 taka. This new rate of gold will be effective across the country from 4 pm on Tuesday (April 23). Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) in a press release informed about the reduction in the price of gold. It is said that the price of Tazabi (pure gold) gold has decreased in the local market. That’s why Bajus decided to adjust the price of gold. According to the new price, the price of a 21 carat gold bar has been reduced to Tk 1 lakh 10 thousand 995. Apart from this, the price of one 18 carat gold bar has been fixed at Tk 95 thousand 143. And the price of one load of traditional gold has been increased to 76 thousand 586 taka. Silver prices remain unchanged. According to the category, currently the price of 22 carat silver is 2 thousand 100 taka. The price of 21 carat silver is Rs 2,660 and the price of 18 carat silver is Rs 1,715. And the price of one load of traditional method has been fixed at 1 thousand 283 rupees.
