Life sentence for two people in Faridpur garage mason murder case

Faridpur Representative: [২] The court sentenced two persons to life imprisonment for killing a garage mechanic named Kamal Fakir (29) in Faridpur. Apart from this, each has been fined Tk 10,000 and sentenced to three months’ imprisonment in default.

[৩] Judge Shihabul Islam of Faridpur Additional District and Sessions Judge Court gave the verdict on Tuesday (April 23) around 12:30 PM.

[৪] The defendants were present in court for the verdict. Later they were sent to jail under police guard.

[৫] The convicts sentenced to life are – Jewel Matubbar (40) son of Wahab Matubbar of Baburchar area of ​​Sadarpur Upazila of Faridpur and Alam Howladar son of Ramchandrapur area of ​​Jhalkathi. Saim Howladar (25).

[৬] State counsel (PP) Advocate Md. Chanwar Hossain said that in October 2020, Jewel Matubbar and Mohd. The court sentenced two people named Saim Howladar to life imprisonment.

[৭] He said the accused were present in the court when the verdict was announced. In this judgment, the rule of law will be established in the country and the crime trend will decrease.
