BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi strongly condemned and condemned the indiscriminate killing of Bangladeshi people, including Hasan Mia, who was killed yesterday by BSF forces on the border with India.

In a press conference at BNP’s central office in Nayapaltan on Tuesday afternoon, he strongly condemned and condemned the killings at the border.

Rizvi said, laws are applied in this country at the will of the head of government. All laws, including conventional criminal and civil, have to be applied according to Sheikh Hasina’s version. After the January 7 dummy election, Sheikh Hasina became the sole ruler of Bangladesh.

He said that the fact that the national leader Begum Khaleda Zia has been imprisoned in a false case for political purposes to keep her away from politics is well known in the country and abroad. The report expressed deep concern about the horrific human rights violations in Bangladesh, including disappearances, murders, assassinations, and torture. It has also been said that the right of the citizens has been taken away in the change of government through free and fair elections. Various deteriorating human rights situations including arrest of opposition leaders and obstruction of peaceful gatherings have been mentioned.

Rizvi said, what the countrymen have been thinking about the sentence of country leader Begum Khaleda Zia has also come up in the US report. The Dummy Prime Minister proved once again that when fascism is established, democratically recognized civil liberties can be wiped out along with opposing forces. And the law-courts run according to the ‘manuals’ of the powerful dictator, as Sheikh Hasina has directed her cases after coming to power. Disappearances, extrajudicial killings and serial killings created a climate of horrific human rights abuses to justify massive efforts to suppress the opposition. Fair voting, elections, voting rights lie in the grave.
