Hundreds of ‘eligible’ jobless people gathered in Dharmatala in the sun. They came from different districts of the state. A teacher from Hooghly said, “We have proved that we are incompetent again and again. There is no complaint against me. OMR has been manipulated. Is it a verdict? There is nothing wrong with 19 thousand. Where the justice system itself says, let five criminals go free, but one innocent person should not be punished. 19 thousand innocent people will be punished here? Whom have we been sacrificed to save?” He said that they will approach the Supreme Court. They are seeking a stay on this order. They are saying to consider this judgment once more.
Another unemployed candidate said, “From my point of view, this verdict is completely unfair. 19 thousand righteous were sacrificed to save 5 thousand righteous.” In the words of another, “It was actually a thug living and the village was deserted. We have worked hard for a long time to come to this place. Just look at our study and you will understand how we got here. I also have my OMR sheet. Along with me, my elderly parents, my two-and-a-half-year-old son are all in limbo.”
One such teacher from Paschim Midnipur said, “The verdict was made because of the government’s lack of goodwill. SSC is the fault of what we said on the way today. SSC has submitted one type of affidavit at one place. It is completely put in our way by the government deliberately. “
