Heat wave conditions continue in almost all over south bengal but today rain forecast in some districts

The whole of South Bengal is burning in unbearable heat. From 6 am to 7 am, the sun’s rays are practically burning the body. accompanied by dampness. As a result, the people of South Bengal are usually hot and sweaty. From the city of Kolkata to various districts, people are practically waiting for the rain like chatak birds. In this situation, almost everyone has only one question, when will the rain come? When will get some relief? In this regard, Alipur Meteorological Department informs that the people of Bengal are not getting relief from the heat wave situation right now. According to the weather office, a heatwave warning has been issued in the districts of South Bengal for the next 5 days due to the effect of dry westerly winds coming from the north-west. In the next 1 to 2 days, the mercury will fall by one to two degrees Celsius, but the weather office has predicted that there will be no relief from the heat. However, rain is forecast in some districts today.

How is the weather in South Bengal?

According to the weather office, the heat wave condition will continue in the districts of South Bengal till Friday of this week. Heat wave conditions will continue in almost all the districts of South Bengal except Kolkata and Howrah today, Tuesday. Among them, there is a risk of severe heat wave in some places in South 24 Parganas, East Medinipur and West Burdwan districts.

Uneasiness will continue in Kolkata

Alipur Meteorological Department informs that today the sky will be partly cloudy in the morning in the city of Kolkata and adjacent areas, but it will be accompanied by heat and humidity related discomfort. The day’s maximum temperature today is 39 degrees Celsius, which is 3 degrees above normal. Besides, the day’s minimum temperature was 27.8 degrees Celsius, which was 2 degrees above normal.

But in the meantime there is a forecast of rain. According to the Alipur Meteorological Department, there may be light rain today in some parts of East Medinipur, West Medinipur and Jhargram. However, there is no chance of rain in the rest of the districts of South Bengal.

North Bengal weather news

Though dry in South Bengal, rain is forecast in several districts of North Bengal today. The weather office is forecasting rain in the upper 3 districts of North Bengal, Darjeeling, Kalimpong and Jalpaiguri on this day. However, the Meteorological Department has not given any forecast of rain in the rest of the districts of North Bengal.
