The temperature will increase from today

The weather department has again issued a ‘heat alert’ for three days even though the temperature dropped a bit on Monday compared to a week in the country. Heat alert has been issued for the third consecutive time this month. The Meteorological Department says that there is a risk of temperature increase from Tuesday. This week’s current heatwave record may be surpassed. Hence this heat alert has been issued.

When asked about this, meteorologist Omar Farooq of the Meteorological Department said that a heat alert has been issued as the intense heat wave continues. The temperature will continue to rise for the next few days. The heatwave will continue till the end of this month. If it doesn’t rain in early May, the heat wave will be longer. However, there is no possibility of the heat wave decreasing in the meantime. At the same time, the night temperature will also increase. As a result, people’s discomfort will also increase.

He also said, ‘Now the day and night temperatures are higher than normal. As much as it is supposed to decrease at night, it is not decreasing. Because the temperature is supposed to be released at night. But the heat is not released because the air has more water vapor. So people are feeling uncomfortably hot even at night.’

From the beginning of this month, heat wave started in most parts of the country. Then in the middle of this month, this heat wave has spread throughout the country. In this, intense heat wave is flowing over the southwestern districts of the country. Which has an impact elsewhere.

Jessore has already recorded the highest temperature this year at 42.6 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, the maximum temperature recorded in Dhaka this year is 40.4 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, severe heat waves are passing over Rajshahi, Pabna, Khulna, Bagerhat, Jessore, Chuadanga and Kushtia districts. A mild to moderate heat wave is moving over the remainder of Rajshahi and Khulna divisions along with Mymensingh, Moulvibazar and Rangamati districts and Dhaka, Rangpur and Barisal divisions and may spread.
