Two Indian students died in a road accident in the US state of Arizona. They migrated to the country from the southern Indian state of Telangana for higher education.

Their vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle in Peoria on Saturday night local time, Indian media outlet NDTV reported. It killed them. The deceased Nivesh Mukka and Gautham Kumar Parsi are both 19 years old.

Nivesh was a resident of Hujurabad in Karimnagar district. And Gautham Kumar is a resident of Ghanpur station in Jangaon district. Both were studying computer science engineering at Arizona State University.

According to reports, the two were returning home with their friends from the university. At that time, their car collided with another car coming from the opposite direction. Nivesh and Gautam died on the spot and the driver of both the vehicles sustained injuries.

Nivesh is the son of doctor couple Naveen and Sathi. The family members of the two students have appealed to the Indian government to help bring the bodies back to the country.
