Penalty by traveling court for charging high price of charger fan in Faridpur
Sanatchakravarty, Faridpur: [২] The mobile court of the district administration and the Directorate of Consumer Rights Protection have fined three companies 15,000 rupees for keeping the charger fan prices high in the city’s New Market.
[৩] The operation was conducted on Monday (April 22) afternoon by the Executive Magistrate of the Mobile Court Md. Badruddoza Rifat and Assistant Director of the District Consumer Directorate Md. Sohail Sheikh. NDC SM Shahdab Hossain, Sanitary Inspector Bazlur Rashid among others were present at this time.
[৪] The Executive Magistrate of the mobile court said that for the past few days, there were complaints that charger fans were being sold at high prices in various electronics shops in Faridpur. In view of this, the operation was conducted as the truth was found while buying the goods in the shops. At this time some shops were fined and warned for keeping prices high.
