A driver named Abdul Awal (45) died while driving a rickshaw in the central Shaheed Minar area of ​​the capital. It is believed that he died of heat stroke while driving a rickshaw in excessive heat.

On Monday (April 22), he was brought to the Dhaka Medical College (DMH) Hospital in an unconscious condition around 4:30 pm. Later, the doctor in charge of the emergency department there declared him dead.

Abdul Awal is the son of deceased Azam Ali of Sinh village of Lakhai police station in Habiganj. At present, he lived in a rented house in Fatulla area of ​​Narayanganj.

Mahibul Islam, a pedestrian who brought Abdul Awal to the hospital, said that the driver was driving a rickshaw through the Shaheed Minar area around 4 pm today. At that time he suddenly fell down from the rickshaw due to excessive heat and became unconscious. Later, when he was rushed to Dhaka Medical, the doctor in charge declared him dead.
