Another farmer died of heat stroke in Pabna

A farmer named Alauddin Ali Alal (43) died of heat stroke while working in the field at Chatmohar in Pabna. Yesterday Sunday (April 21) afternoon, he was taken to Pabna General Hospital where he died.

He is Md. of Neutigacha area of ​​Moolgram Union of Upazila. Son of Yusuf Ali.

Earlier, another person named Sukumar Das (60), a resident of Shalgaria Zakir Mor, died of heat stroke in Pabna on Saturday afternoon. Due to this, two people died of ‘heat stroke’ in the district due to the current intense heat wave.

According to Alal’s family and local sources, Alauddin suffered from heat stroke while working in the corn field at Chatmohar on Sunday morning. He was rescued and first admitted to Atgharia Upazila Health Complex. However, when he was taken to Pabna General Hospital for better treatment in the afternoon, the doctor on duty declared him dead.

Ayesha Siddika, a doctor at Pabna General Hospital, said that people are suffering from heat stroke every day in extreme heat. Many patients are coming to the hospital. Our initial impression is that Alauddin of Chatmohar was suffering from heat stroke.
