In Nandail, Mymensingh, a youth named Rana Mia (30) was taken from his house and hacked to death due to a previous dispute. In this incident, the police arrested three people in the police operation. At that time, indigenous weapons were recovered from them.
The murder took place in Gangailpara area of Banhati village of Rajgati union of the upazila on Sunday (April 21) night. The deceased Rana Mia is the son of Abul Hashem, a resident of that area.
According to police and local sources, there was a dispute between the Gangailpara Suleman group and the Rajan group of the same area for a long time. This led to several fights between them. Later, the dispute between them was settled through the mediation of local dignitaries. But Rana Mia, who died suddenly last night, was sitting next to the house. At that time, the opponent’s people picked him up, cut the veins of his hands and feet and killed him, left him on the side of the road and ran away.

As a result of that dispute, Rana was killed last night by the opponents. In this incident, the body of the deceased has been sent to the hospital morgue for autopsy. No one has filed any complaint in this incident yet.
