Mymensingh: Due to the previous dispute in Nandail Upazila of the district. A young man named Rana Mia (30) was picked up from his house and killed by cutting the veins of his arms and legs and hacking him to death. In this incident, the police arrested three suspects with domestic weapons.

The murder took place in Gangailpara of Banhati village of Rajgati union of the upazila on Sunday (April 21) night.
The deceased Rana Mia of that area. Son of Abul Hashem.
Locals said that the dispute between the Suleman group of Gangailpara and the Rajan group of the same area has been going on for a long time. This led to several fights between them. Later settlement was made through local dignitaries. On Sunday, Rana of Rajan group was sitting next to the house. At that time, the opponents picked him up and cut the veins of his hands and feet and killed him and left the body on the side of the road and ran away.
The OC also said that the body was recovered and sent to the hospital morgue for autopsy. Legal action is being taken in this regard.
