Faridpur: Dhaka Range DIG Syed Nurul Islam visited the spot where two construction workers were killed due to rumors of a fire at the Kalimandir of Dumain Union in Madhukhali, Faridpur.
On Sunday (April 21) afternoon, he first met the bereaved families of the victims at Madhukhali police station and expressed his condolences.
Meanwhile, he promised severe punishment to the culprits through a fair investigation in the case of burning the temple and killing two people by beating. He assured the families of the victims that all those involved in this untoward incident will be brought to justice.
Later he visited the Kalimandir and the spot where the killing took place, adjacent to Panchapalli Government Primary School, Krishnanagar village, Dumaine Union.
During this he gave various important instructions to the officials present.
