The investigation committee said 4 reasons for the terrible road accident in Faridpur

The investigation committee has submitted a report on the incident of 15 people killed in a road accident in Kanaipur, a suburb of Faridpur. It is mentioned that this accident happened due to four reasons.

These include fatigue and sleepiness in the eyes of bus drivers after Eid driving for long hours, over speeding of two vehicles, braking in their own lane on the highway and presence of autorickshaws on the highway.

An investigation report was submitted to Faridpur Deputy Commissioner Kamrul Ahsan Talukder on Sunday (April 21) night. Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Mohammad Ali Siddiqui, head of the investigation committee, confirmed this information.

Superintendent of Highway Police Mohammad Shahinur Alam Khan said that on the morning of April 16, a pickup van coming from the opposite direction collided with Uttara Unique Paribahan from Dhaka to Khulna in Tentultala Diknagar area of ​​Kanaipur Union of Faridpur Sadar Upazila on Dhaka-Khulna highway. In the collision, 11 people including women, men and children in the pickup died on the spot. 7 people were injured. Later, 4 others died while undergoing treatment in the hospital. Enamul Haque, the elder brother of Iqbal Hossain, who was killed in this incident, filed a case at Faridpur Kotwali Police Station accusing the driver as the plaintiff.

Meanwhile, RAB-10 arrested the bus driver in connection with the bus-pickup collision in Faridpur in which 15 people were killed.

In this regard, a media briefing has been organized at RAB 10, CPC 3, Faridpur camp on Monday (April 22) at 11 am. RAB-10, CPC-3, Faridpur company captain Lt. It has been informed that Commander KM Shaikh Akhtar will brief the journalists in this regard.

On April 16, 15 people were killed in a road accident in a bus-pickup collision on the Faridpur-Khulna highway. Enamul Sheikh, the elder brother of Iqbal Hossain, who was killed in this incident, filed a case at Faridpur Kotwali Police Station accusing the driver of the passenger bus as the plaintiff.
