Morning-evening hartal of BNP in Rangpur today

Metropolitan BNP has called a morning-evening hartal in Rangpur on Wednesday to protest the sentence and arrest of central leaders including top five leaders of BNP in Rangpur. People of Rangpur district and metropolis are called to observe hartal from 6 am to 6 pm on Wednesday.

This information was confirmed in a circular signed by acting convenor Shahidul Islam Mizu and acting member secretary Salim Chowdhury sent by BNP publicity and publication wing on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the notification sent through the press, in the formal verdict of the false and fabricated case aimed at prolonging the power of the Awami government, Rangpur’s son Habib Un Nabi Khan Sohail, Joint Secretary General of BNP, Juba Dal Central Executive Committee President Sultan Salahuddin Tuku, Member Secretary of Rangpur Metropolitan BNP Advocate Mahfuz Un Nabi Don, District BNP Member Secretary Anichur Rahman Laku, Mahanagar Jubo Dal Senior Joint Convener Zahir Alam Nayan, District Jubo Dal Vice President Tarek Hasan Sohag and other members of the party’s affiliated organizations, including arrests and harassment in the name of harassment in the name of false cases, arrests and house searches, called this hartal.
