The true meaning of faith

The true meaning of faith
The true meaning of faith
--

In the Hadith, Gabriel had the first question to the Prophet, what is Islam? In response to this, the Prophet (peace be upon him) mentioned five things. He asked the second question to the Prophet, what is faith? The Prophet (PBUH) said, ‘Faith is that you believe in Allah, His angels, His Messengers, the Day of Judgment and the good and bad of destiny’ (Muslim: 8).
Faith is a light. Which comes to the heart by confirming the Prophet. When this light comes to the heart, disbelief in Allah, disobedience to Him, attachment to Jahili practices are removed from the heart and those things that are invisible to the eyes are considered true – about which the Prophet (peace be upon him) informed. The Prophet said, ‘None of you can be a believer until his heart’s instincts are subjugated to the religion and law brought by me’ (Meshkat: 167).
There are six most important aspects of the religion brought to the Prophet. The essence of the entire Deen lies in these six points.
1. Believing in Allah Ta’ala
By this it is meant to understand Allah Ta’ala as one in His Being and Attributes. He is free from all defects and faults in His existence, in His nature and qualities. He is endowed with all perfections. All things of creation follow His will. Everything is dependent on Him, He is never dependent on anyone. All the authority of the creation is under his control. He has no partner, no equal.
2. Belief in angels
By this it is meant that angels are a light creation of Allah. They never disobey Allah. They faithfully follow the orders given to them. He who is appointed to the work does not for a moment disobey it; Rather, it fully observes it.
3. Belief in the Prophets
This means that Allah Ta’ala has chosen some special servants from among people to guide His servants, to inform them of His pleasures and displeasures. They are called Prophets and Messengers. The news given by Allah Ta’ala to the servants is reached through the Prophets. The first prophet was Hazrat Adam (AS) and the last prophet was our Prophet SAW. No other person will receive prophethood after our Prophet; Rather, the religion brought by the Prophet will remain until the Day of Judgment.
4. Believing in the book
This means that many heavenly books have been revealed through prophets to guide the people. Four of these books are very famous and well known. Torah, Jabur, Injil and Quran. The Qur’an is the last guidance sent down to the people. Following the Quran is obligatory on every human being. It contains the path to human success and liberation. Whoever opposes the Last Book of Allah Ta’ala will never be successful.
5. Belief in the Resurrection
This means that there will come a time when the whole world will be destroyed. The heavens and the earth will be destroyed. After that, Allah Ta’ala will bring everyone back to life. All the good and bad deeds done in the world will be accounted for. A mizan scale will be established to measure the deeds. Every person’s good and bad deeds will be lifted in it. A person whose scale of good deeds will be heavy, he will be pleased with Allah. He will always be in the pleasure of Allah. will be near him. That is called paradise.
Whoever has a heavy sin, he will be under the displeasure of Allah Ta’ala. And he will be arrested and punished in Allah’s prison and hell. Unbelievers and unbelievers will be in Hell forever. Whoever in this world does the slightest injustice to others will be retaliated against, mistreated and dishonored. On the Day of Resurrection, the oppressed will be fully repaid from the oppressor. In short, the name of the day of Allah’s justice is Qiyamat. Every person must give an account of all his life. On that day no one will be wronged in the slightest.
6. Belief in destiny
This means that everything in the world does not move by itself. A powerful entity drives everything. Everything that happens in this world, happiness and pain, good and bad, is done by the will of Allah Ta’ala, His power and His wisdom. The knowledge of even the smallest things of creation exists in the knowledge of that omniscient and omnipotent Being. Long before the creation of the world, he recorded all its conditions in Laohe Mahfuz. Whatever comes to reality in the world, comes forward accordingly. His nature and will come to the fore. Basically, everything is going on according to the order in which Allah Ta’ala had arranged the management system of the world long before the creation (translated from Ap Ke Masa’il Aro Unka Holo).
