World Champion Athlete Colin Jackson Will Be The International Event Ambassador For Kolkata Marathon

Kolkata, November 21: World champion hurdler Colin Jackson is the commercial ambassador of this year’s Kolkata Marathon The organizers of the ‘Tata Steel 25K Marathon’ announced this news on Tuesday. This year the Kolkata Marathon is scheduled to be held on December 17. The Kolkata Marathon is returning to the old rhythm after removing the shock of the Corona epidemic. Colin Jackson won gold in the 110m hurdles, setting a record in Stuttgart in 1993. The time taken was 12.91 seconds. He also won gold in the World Athletics Championships in 1999. Colin then won silver at the senior level in the 1986 Commonwealth Games. He also has the credit of winning gold in Commonwealth Games in 1990 and 1994.

He held the European Track and Field Championship title for twelve years. Kolkata Marathon means the presence of sports personalities for the world.
