At the same time, another 1 thousand 84 people were diagnosed with dengue and admitted to the hospital. Among the infected, 221 people have been admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka and 863 people have been admitted to different hospitals outside Dhaka.
This information was informed in a press release sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health on Tuesday (November 21).
It is said in the notification that at present, a total of 4 thousand 462 dengue patients are under treatment in various public and private hospitals of the country. There are currently 1,128 dengue patients admitted in public and private hospitals in Dhaka and 3,334 dengue patients in other hospitals.
This year, 3 lakh 3 thousand 536 patients have been admitted to hospital and treated with dengue throughout the country. Out of this, 1 lakh 6 thousand 42 people were treated in Dhaka and 1 lakh 97 thousand 494 outside Dhaka.
Among the affected, 2 lakh 97 thousand 512 people have recovered from the hospital and returned home. 1 lakh 4 thousand 5 in Dhaka and 1 lakh 93 thousand 507 outside Dhaka have recovered and returned home.
