Thailand’s government recognizes same-sex marriage. The Marriage Equality Bill has been approved by the Cabinet today, Tuesday, November 21. Prime Minister Sretha Thavisin said the draft Marriage Equality Bill will be tabled during the next parliamentary session. The session is scheduled to start in that country on December 12. If the bill is passed into law, Thailand will become the third Asian country, after Taiwan and Nepal, to recognize same-sex marriage.
