Another victim of gang-rape while fleeing after the robbery at Shibchar in Madaripur district has died under treatment. The person named Achmat Ali Bepari Hasmat (45) died on Tuesday (November 21) afternoon. Two people died in that incident.
Madaripur Assistant Superintendent of Police (Shivachar Circle). Golam Rabbani confirmed this. The deceased Hasmat was a resident of Lakshmipur village in Shirchar union of Sadar upazila.

It has been reported that a robbery took place at the house of Delwar Howladar in Chlenama area of Shivchar’s Banshkandi Union on Monday night. While fleeing from there, the locals chased the two people and beat them up. A person named Mirjan Khalasi (43) died on the spot. Hasmat was admitted to the hospital with injuries. He died at Madaripur Sadar Hospital today while undergoing treatment.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday morning, local people arrested two more people named Sagar Howladar (28) and Mostafa Kamal (65) from the same area and handed them over to the police.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (Shivachar Circle) Golam Rabbani said, another person died while undergoing treatment. There are several cases in their name in different police stations.
