Boy beaten to death on suspicion of being a thief in Bogra, 3 arrested
Ainur Islam, Bogra:  A case has been registered in the case of beating to death of a teenager named Joy on suspicion of being a thief in Bogra. Police have arrested three main accused in this case. They were sent to jail by the court on Monday afternoon.
 The three arrested accused are Ashraful Islam, Motu Islam and Siam Hossain of Kazi Nuril village of Lahiripara Union of Sadar Upazila. They are accused number one, two and three in the case respectively.
 Bogra Sadar Police Station Inspector (Operation) Faim Uddin confirmed this information.
 The previous day, Jay Islam, the teenage son of Swadhin Mia of Baripara village of Shakharia Union, was beaten to death by a suspected thief at around 10 pm on Sunday.
 According to the source of the case, Joy entered the house of Motu, the son of deceased Maqbool Master of Kazi Nooril village around 9:30 pm on Sunday night. Mutu’s elder brother Ashraful came out of the house on sensing Joy’s presence. Meanwhile, Joy climbed up a tree in fear. Later Motu and Ashraful pulled him down from the tree and started beating him. All the locals came to Motu’s house after getting the news that the thief had entered. Then Joy was beaten up and died there.
 Inspector Faim Uddin said that the father of the deceased has filed a murder case against 10 named and 20 unidentified accused as an independent plaintiff in the case of Kishore Joy murder. Three main accused in the case have been arrested in this incident. The operation to arrest the rest of the accused is continuing. Editing: AR Shakeel
