In the past few years, the trend of performing Jagaddhatri puja at home or residence has increased quite a bit from Barwari Jagaddhatri. And there is no room to say that our hands are burning to buy puja fruits and flowers from the pooja market. It is clear in the market price of a couple of days.

There is no sign of a reduction in the cost of Lakshmi Puja despite cutting back on the amount. After Lakshmi Puja, the vegetable market is within the reach of the people, but the price of vegetables has been on the rise for the past two days due to Jagaddhatri Puja. Not only vegetables but also fruits and flowers. Although the prices have come down, most of the vegetables are under 100 rupees. Most of the vegetable and fruit sellers in the retail market claim that the market will return to normal once the puja is over.
A small coconut is being sold for Rs 35-45. 50-60 for big coconuts. On the other hand, apple is 200-250 rupees per kg. Pears 170-200 Tk per kg. Sasa is being sold at Tk 50 per kg. Seasonal lemon small 10 taka each and big one 15-20 taka. Kanthali Kala dozen 40-50 rupees. Guava is being sold at Rs 70-80 per kg. Pineapple small 80-90 rupees. Large pineapple Rs 110-130. Pomegranate is Rs 180-220 per kg. 15-20 rupees per piece of sugarcane.

To buy flowers such as fruits, the collection of hand-picking. The shopkeepers are charging the price like garlands of rosin gandha. Small garlands are reduced by 60-80 taka, big garlands are priceless. The price of marigolds is also high. Everything from Aparajita or Akanda Mala to Jaba is double the price.
