Javier Milley, known as a hard right winger, won Argentina’s presidential election. The second round of presidential elections was held on Sunday. Till night 90 percent of votes have been counted, out of which 56 percent have been won by Mila. According to a BBC report, Miley’s closest rival in the election is left-wing leader Sergio Massa.
He received 44 percent of the vote. Javier Milley addressed the fans in Buenos Aires that night, seeing victory assured. In this, he said, through this victory, the “reconstruction of Argentina” began. Argentina’s election comes at a time when inflation is rising and the people are in dire economic straits.
In his speech, Milley said, ‘We are now going to work shoulder to shoulder with all the nations of the free world.’ Former US President Donald Trump congratulated Miley on her victory. He said, ‘Mile will make Argentina great again.’
It should be noted that Millet was not so well known in Argentina even a few days ago. He is primarily an economist and a fan of rock music. According to The New York Times, he has been subjected to insults on television, scathing attacks against critics online, and sometimes memes of a messy hairstyle. Because of his aggressive behavior, he has already become known as ‘Mini Trump’.
