Two people, including a child, were killed in a collision between a private car and an easy bike in Sirajganj’s Salanga. The accident took place in Ramachar area of Solanga police station of Sirajganj on Hatikumrul-Banpara highway on Monday (November 20) afternoon.
At this time, two more passengers of Easybike were injured. They have been admitted to a local clinic.
The deceased are Zahurul Islam’s wife Zahurul Islam (35) of Ullapara upazila Baradungachha village and Rokeya Khatun (5), daughter of Shahadat Hossain of Rajshahi district.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Hatikumrul Highway Police Station Abdul Wadud said, a private car was going to Rajshahi from Dhaka in the afternoon. When the private car reached the Ramachar area of Solanga police station on the Hatikumrul-Banpara highway, it collided with a passenger easybike coming from the opposite direction. At this time, four passengers of Easybike were injured. Among the injured, Zamirun Khatun and child Rokeya Khatun died on the way to Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.
