An unbalanced young man died after being hit by a train

Panchagarh Palash Chandra Barman (35), an unbalanced young man, died after falling under a moving train in Atwari Upazila of the district.

The incident took place on the railway line on the south side of Haji Sahar Ali School in Radhanagar Union of the upazila on Sunday (November 12) morning.

It is known that the deceased Palash Chandra Barman is the son of Hardeva Chandra Barman of Radhanagar Thakurbari village of Radhanagar Union. He is mentally unbalanced by birth.

According to local sources, Palash used to leave his house every morning and wander around the area. Meanwhile, he fell under a Panchagarh-bound train leaving Dhaka while walking on the railway line on Sunday morning. Palash was cut and died on the spot. After the incident, when the locals informed the union council about the matter, Chairman Abu Zaheed went to the spot and informed the railway police.

Chairman of Radhanagar Union Parishad, Abu Jahed, confirmed the fact that he was killed by the train and said that the railway police has been informed. They will come to the spot and take preliminary measures and take further legal action.
