Before the blockade, the fire service received reports of fire in 9 cars in 10 hours from 8 pm on Saturday to 6 am on Sunday.

It is said that from Saturday night to Sunday morning at 6 am, fire service received reports of fire in 7 cars in Dhaka, 1 in Gazipur and 1 in Barisal Sadar.
8 buses and 1 pickup were gutted in the fire. 19 units of fire service and civil defense and 193 personnel worked to extinguish the fire.
There have been cases of setting fire to vehicles in some parts of the country, according to the media cell of the fire service, a red-green transport bus was set on fire in front of Notre Dame College in the capital on Saturday night at 8:20 pm.
At around 8:30 pm, 1 bus was set on fire in front of Gabtali bus stand, around 9 pm, a bus named ‘Nyantran’ was set on fire in front of Gulistan Square Market, at 9:27 pm miscreants set fire to an ‘Anabil’ transport bus at Jatrabari intersection.
Besides, a pickup van was set on fire at Jugitla in Gazipur at 9:33 p.m., a Prajapati Paribahan bus in front of Kafrul Police Station in the capital at 11:38 p.m., and a bus in front of Rupnagar Police Station in the capital at around 12:00 p.m.
Apart from this, the bus of Mother Enterprise was set on fire in front of the Barisal Divisional Police Office at 3:35 PM on Saturday. Miscreants set fire to a Malanch Paribahan bus in Dhaka’s Sutrapur at 6:09 am on Sunday.
