Bangalore: The bloody bodies of the mother and three children are lying inside the house. On Sunday morning, the Karnataka police recovered these four bodies after going to a house in Kemmannu in Udupi district of Karnataka. An unidentified assailant stabbed them to death, police said. The mother-in-law of the deceased woman was also present at the time of the incident. He was also stabbed. However, he survived. He was admitted to a nearby hospital in critical condition. He is being treated there.
Police said that the dead woman’s name is Hasina, age 46. Her husband lives in the Middle East on business. Apart from Hasina, 23-year-old Afsan, 20-year-old Ayanaz and 12-year-old Asim died. Udupi District Superintendent of Police Arun Kumar visited the spot after receiving information about the incident. He said that all four people were killed by stabbing. They have sent the bodies for autopsy. However, the reason behind this brutal killing is not yet known. Arun Kumar also said that the investigation is going on to find out the reason for the murder. No valuables were stolen from the house. As a result, these four people were not killed for robbery, the police are certain about this. Whether there is a love triangle behind it, or whether there is any previous enmity – the police are looking into all aspects.
