Canada will stand by the law on the issue of self-inflicted murder, Trudeau said

--

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau reiterated India’s involvement in the killing of pro-Khalistan Sikh Hardeep Singh Nijjar. He said, we will always stand for the law. The Canadian Prime Minister said these things in a press conference on Sunday. This news was reported by the Indian media India Today.

Trudeau said he had spoken to India to find out more about the Nijjar killing issue, as well as contacted the United States to investigate the Nijjar killing claims against Canada.

“This is something we have to take very seriously,” Trudeau said. We will continue to work alongside law enforcement and investigative agencies. Canada is a country that will always stand for the rule of law. If major countries violate international law without consequence, the entire world will become more dangerous for everyone.

The Canadian Prime Minister said, we are trying to work positively with India and this is how we want to do it. We will always stand for the law.

As relations between India and Canada soured in September, Trudeau accused Indian agents of involvement in Nijja’s killing.

On June 18, 45-year-old Hardeep Singh Nijjar was shot dead outside a Sikh temple in British Columbia, Canada. After that the tension between India and Canada spread. Although the two countries have good trade relations.
