Chhatra Dal and Juba Dal leaders arrested in police killing case

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Chhatra Dal and Juba Dal leaders in connection with the killing of policeman Constable Amirul Haque Parvez in the violence surrounding the BNP rally on October 28.

Assistant Director of Law and Media Branch of RAB ANM Imran Khan confirmed this information on Sunday (November 12) morning.

He said that on October 28, RAB-7 arrested Zakir Hossain Jasim, the president of Feni District Jubo Dal, one of the accused in the murder case of a policeman who was brutally beaten in Paltan area of ​​the capital.

He also said that Chapainawabganj district Chhatra Dal president is one of the accused in the same case. RAB-5 arrested Yusuf Ali from Chapainawabganj Sadar area.

Also, RAB-7 has arrested three saboteurs including Nasir Uddin Khandkar, General Secretary of Feni District Youth Dal, who is the fugitive accused of cocktail bomb blast and sabotage case under Feni Model Thana Islampur area from Feni Sadar area.

The RAB official also said that the detailed information will be given later.

Alal Uddin Alal, Member Secretary of Feni District BNP, said that four people, including Feni District Jubodal President Zakir Hossain Jasim and General Secretary Nasir Uddin Khandkar, were arrested on Saturday (November 11) around 11 pm. Others arrested are Fazlul Haque Munna, Feni Municipal Youth Dal leader and Ismail, driver of District Youth Dal General Secretary Nasir Uddin Khandkar.

Jubo Dal Central Committee President Sultan Salahuddin Tuku and General Secretary (Acting) Shafiqul Islam Milton protested and condemned the arrest of Feni District Jubo Dal President-General Secretary and Municipal Jubo Dal leader.

This protest has been announced on behalf of the party in a circular signed by Advocate Azizur Rahman Akand, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Dal Central Committee.
