6 more people have died due to dengue in the country. With this, 118 people died of dengue in the first 11 days of November. And this year, 1,466 people died of Aedes mosquito-borne disease. Besides, 1 thousand 512 people were admitted to the hospital with dengue in the last one day.
This information was informed in the press release sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health on Saturday evening.
It is said that in the last 24 hours (from 8:00 am yesterday Friday to 8:00 am today), four people died in Dhaka and two outside Dhaka due to dengue.
In the last 24 hours, 1 thousand 512 people were admitted to different hospitals of the country with dengue. Out of this, 338 people have been admitted to Dhaka hospitals and 1,174 people have been admitted to hospitals outside Dhaka.
According to the information of the Department of Health, two lakh 90 thousand 84 people have been admitted to hospital with dengue this year. Among them, 1 lakh three thousand 227 people were admitted in different hospitals in Dhaka and 1 lakh 86 thousand 857 people were admitted outside Dhaka.

The highest number of deaths due to dengue this year in the country was last September – 396 people. And 359 people died last month. Earlier, 342 people died of dengue in August. The country has seen dengue deaths in all months except March this year.
