Dhaka: Six more people have died due to dengue in the last 24 hours. On this day, 1 thousand 512 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue infection.
This information was informed in a press release about dengue sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health on Saturday (November 11).
It is said that in the last 24 hours, 1,512 people have been infected with dengue and have been admitted to the hospital. Among them 338 people in Dhaka and 1 thousand 174 people outside Dhaka.
In the notification, 1,341 dengue patients have been discharged from the hospital in the last 24 hours. Among them 315 people in Dhaka and 1 thousand 26 people outside Dhaka.
It also informed that six people have died due to dengue infection in the last 24 hours. Among them, four are in Dhaka and two are outside Dhaka.
This year 1 thousand 466 people died due to dengue. Among them, 861 people are in Dhaka and 605 people are outside Dhaka.
As of November 11 this year, 290 thousand 84 people have been affected by dengue. Among them, 1 lakh 3 thousand 227 people are in Dhaka and 1 lakh 86 thousand 857 people outside Dhaka.
So far this year, two lakh 82 thousand 245 dengue patients have been discharged from the hospital. Among them, 1 lakh 758 people are in Dhaka and 1 lakh 81 thousand 487 people outside Dhaka.
Currently, 6,373 dengue patients are admitted in hospitals across the country. Among them 1 thousand 608 people in Dhaka and 4 thousand 765 people outside Dhaka.
It is said that this year, the rate of getting clearance from the hospital due to dengue is 97 percent. Hospitalization rate is two percent. The death rate is zero and five percent.
From January 1 to December 31 last year, the number of patients admitted to various hospitals in the country was 62 thousand 382 and 281 people died due to dengue.
