On the other hand, he claimed that the Siddiqui family was being contacted by the Trinamool after the news of Naushad’s candidature in Diamond Harbour, the seat of Abhishek’s Lok Sabha election, came to light. In an interview with TV9 Bengali on Thursday, ISF’s lone MLA Naushad claimed that he had heard that his family was being contacted by the ruling party. However, Naushad is not sure who is communicating. The MLA said, “Our family is very big. We have a weakness for family. I heard that an understanding is being tried with that family. I will tell only if I know who is doing it.” No response was received from Trinamool in this regard.

At the same time, Naushad made it clear that he will not back down from his decision to be a candidate from Diamond Harbor in the Lok Sabha elections. Naushad also said that if he is sent to jail in a false case, he will fight from there if necessary. He fears that the ruling party may make false accusations against him and send him to jail. But he is not afraid. Naushad also alleged that he was being threatened to kill him. Trinamool leaders have already started attacking Naushad. Arabul Islam claimed that BJP, CPM, Congress are supporting Naushad.
